James M. Doutt was born 9 December 1832, and married Apr 1854 to Hannah R. Schall. She was born 18 May 1835 and died 18 March 1892. Both are buried in the Mahoning Baptist Cemetery, Smicksburg, Indiana County, Missouri

Absalom Solomon Doutt Jr., the son of Absalom Solomon Doutt Sr. and Elizabeth McFarland, was born 27 August 1835, and married 30 October 1856 to Margaret Jane Absher. Absalom died 26 July 1903, and it is thought that Margaret died September 1862.
Their child: 1) William Theodore Doutt (1 Jun 1857 - 17 Jul 1911), m: 4 Jul 1878, Rebecca J. Simpson
Absalom Solomon Doutt Jr. married secondly 26 July 1864 to Sarah G. Smith. Sarah died 19 Jun 1921. Absalom and Sarah are buried in Topeka Cemetery, Topeka, Shawnee County, Kansas
