Dear Friends,
Well, I am to the point where I am wondering how to say goodbye. I decided some time ago that I would have to end these newsletters. After all this time, it seemed like I was just slowing down, and unable to get back up to speed. I am not happy about it, but I guess it happens to all of us.
I am going to miss you all. However, you can still reach me at my snail-mail address, and also by e-mail. I have the website also, and I expect to continue it. I will be happy to hear from you, and willing to help you in any way I can.
I expanded this issue a bit, to contain all of the new information that I had, since I wouldn't be saving anything for the next issue.
Publishing this newsletter has been a great experience. I have loved it all. I can't believe that we have learned so much about our Doutt ancestors, and put together such a great genealogy. It just seemed to mushroom.
Please, if you discover more information about our Doutts, don't hesitate to contact me. I will be interested. Likewise, if I find something new and exciting, I will add it to the website, so you can make use of it.
Take care. I will miss you. Frances

You can shed tears that they are gone, or you can smile because they have lived.
You can close your eyes and pray that they will come back or you can open your eyes, and see all they have done. Or you can open your eyes and see all they left you.
Your heart can be empty because you can't see them, or you can be full of the love you've shared.
You can turn your back on tomorrow and live yesterday, or you can be happy for tomorrow because of yesterday.
You can remember them only that they are gone, or you can cherish their memory and let it live on.
You can cry and close your mind, be empty and turn your back, or you can do what they want.
Smile, open your eyes, love and go on.
Love from Sherry | ||||||

Thanks Sherry. Your poem is lovely, and I think we all could live by it. Just because our loved ones are gone doesn't mean that they don't live on through us. We can always remember them with love. Thanks also to Sherry Conklin for the pictures of her line.
